Whistler Sunset

I've watched a lot of sunsets - this one from Disease Ridge on January 25, 2019 is in my top 3.

As the sun dipped behind the Tantalus Range, a bland, grey afternoon transformed into an electrifying sunset over Whistler Mountain.

Accompanied by fellow photographer Michael Overbeck, we howled in awe from the ridge crest as fiery reds faded to delicate pink and the deep blue of dusk, skiing out by headlamp after the show was complete.
